Sedawk Practical AI for people who have work to do.

Privacy policy

Short version: we keep what we need to run the course, we do not sell it, and if you ask us to delete you we will.

Who we are

Sedawk Enterprises, British Columbia, Canada. You can reach us from the contact page — no account needed, and a person reads it.

What we collect, and why

WhatWhy
Your email addressTo sign you in and to send you the things you need: your access link, your receipt, a password reset if you ask for one
Your name, if you give itSo a certificate has the right name on it
What you have watched and answeredSo you can pick up where you left off on any device, and so we can tell which lessons are working and which are not
Your purchase recordBecause tax law requires us to keep it

We never see your card details. Payment is handled by Paddle, who are the seller of record; the card number never reaches us.

Who else touches it

Three companies, each doing one job:

None of them are given your information for their own purposes, and we do not sell or rent it to anybody. We do not advertise to you.

Where it is kept

In the United States. The servers are in San Francisco. We are saying so plainly because Canadian privacy law asks us to: information held outside Canada can, in principle, be reached by the courts of the country it sits in.

How long we keep it

While you have an account, and while tax law requires the financial record — seven years in Canada.

Deleting you

Ask and we will. A person runs the procedure and writes down that they did it. Your account is anonymised and your access ends.

Two things survive, and we would rather say so than surprise you: the record of which lessons were watched, with nothing left in it that points at you, so the aggregate numbers we use to improve courses do not silently break; and, if you have bought something, the financial record, because tax law requires us to keep it and that is not ours to waive.

Seeing and correcting what we hold

Ask us and we will tell you what we have and fix anything that is wrong.

Changes

If we change something that matters we will say so on this page and date it.
